sense machina is a 5-day interactive media workshop that explores interactivity in a future world of cyborgs. If cyborgs are part-machine, how do they interact with machines? The workshop will generate outcomes from interactive spaces to futuristic games and solutions for the cyber home - all considering the question of what interaction will mean in the era of the post-human.
sense machina will be held at the Department of Digital Design at Mingdao University, Taiwan, January 7-11 2008. The workshop invites interactive architect Joanne Jakovich and architect/academic Dr. Jerry Tsai, both from Sydney, Australia. They and local lecturers will guide students to produce interactive works which will be displayed to the public on the closing day, 11th January.
